An address at Aria On The Bay will put you at the center of Miami’s hottest scene, with seemingly endless choices in things to do. No matter how you like to spend your time—exploring local shops and restaurants; cheering pro sports teams; taking in world-class cultural pursuits—Aria On The Bay will be the place to be.

Visitors travel far distances to sample the delights of neighborhoods that are easily reached by Aria On The Bay residents. Here are three such hot spots.

Mary Brickell Village

Shopping and dining are especially exciting in this center on Miami Avenue between 9th and 10th streets. Boutiques selling stylish clothing, accessories and specialty items can be found here, and restaurants range from casual eateries to fine-dining spots. The fun continues at night, when trendy bars and nightclubs turn up the heat.

Wynwood Arts District/Miami Design District

Miami’s former warehouse district is now one of the world’s top cultural destinations, home of the prestigious Art Basel exposition that draws artists and art patrons from across the globe. The district, located north of downtown Miami, boasts more than 70 art galleries, retail stores, antique shops and bars, which are showcased monthly during the Second Saturday Art Walk.

A similar vibe is found in the Miami Design District, which is just north of Wynwood. The former industrial area is now home to entrepreneurs, stylists, artists, culinary masters and nightlife mavens who can be credited with setting off much of downtown’s revival.

Downtown

Miami’s downtown is in the midst of a revival that has brought art, entertainment and recreation together in one vibrant spot. Daytime attractions include Bayside Marketplace, a waterfront shopping and entertainment center packed with shops and restaurants. Just north of Bayside are the Perez Art Museum Miami, which opened in late 2013; and the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts, which presents world-class musical and theatrical productions. Anchoring downtown is American Airlines Arena, home of the world champion Miami Heat basketball team and a renowned concert venue.

Simpler pleasures are available as well. Stroll along the waterfront any day to take in the sparkling bay and meet kindred souls walking the broad sidewalks. You may even get to sample Miami’s finest dining: the eclectic, adventurous cuisine created in the food trucks that stop here regularly.
